Bringing Leaders Together: Mexico and H-P

The Problem

Finding a neutral forum in which business and government leaders can have a productive dialogue free of preconceived notions, posturing and conflict.

The Solution

Arranged for private meetings between the corporate leadership of Hewlett-Packard Company and Ernesto Zedillo, President of Mexico, and his advisors.  Such a meeting provided an important corporate member with special access to a world leader to expand its presence in his country, while awarding that country with valuable employment opportunities and access to sought-after high technology.

The Results

Private dialogue was created between the leadership of Hewlett-Packard and Mexico in a neutral third-party setting, resulting in a greater understanding of the agendas of the two parties, more effective communications, the creation of synergies and the avoidance of conflict.
